What a day! Woke up (barely) for an earlier art history class than normal, why the day after our huge hike Ann decide to thrown an early class at us, I don’t get. Ok well, I kind of do. She moved it up us that we could get out earlier and make it to the market happening in town… which was nice. Ha. So after class (in which she discovered none of us had done the readings (between the hike and a huge art project sue at 5 today she understood) but added an extra class after next week, booo!) Once class was done we all met down stair to head to the train station to buy tickets for a little Saturday day trip to Pisa, we got a group rate by all going together and then were able to check out the market as we hiked back to town and then home. After the market and ticket ordeal we had about an hour till lunch in which almost everyone was in the studio try to finish of come up the with 5 pieces due. It was a quick but amazing lunch; we got home made pizza and water melon because we were the only ones in the school for lunch yippee, then back to work. Dan didn’t even attempt to “start” class because we’d all been in and out of the studio all day and the night before. As five o’clock rolled around we all cleaned up our places and posted our pieces about the rooms wall. Almost everyone had completed the required 5 items; some had not, Dan just said, “they owe us” ha. Luckily I had about 8 composed things. Some of them I had just thrown together as I got frustrated with other pieces, but luckily I completed the assignment and felt happy with the work I had to show. Once all piece were up we spent over and hour and a half talking about each persons work… we were all dieing!!! After the stress of the day and the hike the day before no one said to much and anyone who did was not in everyone’s favor, ha. After we were final released it was about dinnertime, which we all consumed quickly with some wine and then retreated to our rooms finally, instead of to the studio as the nights before, haha. Later a small group of us meet in the lounge and watch Casanova, silly movie but so fun to watch and make fun of together..It was great!! Off to bed, early, early train to catch on my Saturday morning, ugh the things I do for Italy, ha!
Ciao
