venerdì

6/20/08
No morning class, perfect start to the day. Woke up around 9, very late for me, haha. Met up with a few people at the Loggia for coffee and finishing up school work. Yup that’s right, today we had a labeling/ sketching assignment due for Ann. I had finished most of it on Tuesday, but I had had to add some finishing touches. After a while we wondered to the Friday morning market on the hill. This I full of clothes, shoes, produce of all kinds, kitchen ware- anything you name it. My favorite part is to watch all the Italians at the meat/ cheese stand and the fresh produce. its just a joy to watch them bargain and buy, then wonder was goodness they will create later with it all. Hehe. By this time it was getting really hot so Kayla and I headed back to Santa Chiara to show Ann our assignment, get our grade and then pass time till lunch. I swear everything around revolves around when the next meal is, and we’ve definitely all adapted to that way of life. Fantastic lunch of bow tie pasta with basil and ham and melon. Sounds crazy, but it was great, we also had salad and watermelon too. ☺ After lunch we had studio, four hours of struggleing to create a series of art works, man. And I thought 5 pieces was tough last time, now I have 15 to do, ugh. Ha. Around 6 (class ended at 530) I had to walk away from my work. And I literary sat in the courtyard for an hour and a half, trying to get rid of a headache and make it to dinner. No problem there, im still alive and full. We grabbed gelato after dinner and then watch Roman Holiday (my new favorite movie). Which was fun to watch cause all of the sites she’s at we just saw. Ha.
Man we've done so much, wow.

ciao
