Today was another full day of classes. We spent the morning in Art History with Ann, talking about the book we had to write our paper on, interesting topics and conversations popped up. Its neat to be in a class everyday with people you spend so much time with. I mean we eat, sleep and travel together, all the things people say to do to grow close to one another. After class we had a meeting regarding Assisi, we go in the morning. We decide not to stay through dinner…more money…and just make it home in time for a dinner that’s already been paid for, ha. We had about an hour between the end of the meeting and lunch, so Kayla and I decided to do your laundry. Yes, we washed most of our clothes by hand, ha. Kayla was unsure how to do it, but thanks to Texas4000, I showed her the ropes, haha. Later during lunch after my arms had recovered form ringing out and washing all my clothes… it began to rain. Luckily only a few things of mine weren’t under a tent…I had to move them and pin them back up in another place…o well. After lunch we had art with Dan…and today we were given a bit more artist freedom, which I can’t decide if that’s a good or bad things for me. I panicked at first, then got in the zone..then after a few hours, I started looking around and panicked again….ugh. I think I need to have a drink before art class, man. What is my problem. Anyway next came our 3rd Italian lesson, today she introduced a bit of actual conjugation…booo, lets just say I like haven’t the excuse to not have to learn all of that stuff. In between dinner and Italian, I was able to have a 4way chat with some friends from home. It made my day! I needed that lift and chance to laugh at life and my situation. Thanks girls!! At dinner I had to sit at a table with the Aggies .Ha, it was actually really nice to sit with some people who were a bit more similar to the kinds of people I’m used to coming into contact with on a daily bases. It was just nice to talk with some new people and make some new friends! Its about nine now, today was a national holiday in Italy so there are fireworks later tonight at the top of the town and it’s the end of the medieval festival too. Plan to go, should be interesting.
Ciao
